Export basics

Workspace administrators can set up exports to allow the use of data from Anaplan models in external systems.

When you set up an export, it can be run again as an action, added to a process and published to a dashboard, or added to an action card for users to manage from a page in the UX.

You can also determine if an export is private or shared. 

You can export data from:

• Modules
• Line items
• Lists
• Versions
• Users
• Model roles
• Model history
• Cell history
• Dashboards

When you export from Anaplan, you can choose from different file types to suit your use case, such as CSV or PDF.

You can also modify your export layout. For example, you can export your module data in a grid layout to preserve filters and line item styles.
