Add a grid card to a page to display data from a module in a grid.

This is useful for highlighting important numerical data for end users.

While grid cards cannot be used as a primary grid in worksheets, you can expand them to full-screen from the Additional insights panel.

To add or edit a card:

  1. Click Edit this page in the toolbar to open your page in designer mode.
  2. Optionally, add a new card.

  3. Click the Configure button on a new card, or hover over your card and click .

To configure a grid card:

  1. In the Overview tab, click on View designer.
  2. Select a Module view or design a Custom view to use as the data source for your grid, then press Update
    The grid displays in the Additional insights panel.
  3. Optionally, on the Overview tab:
    • Enter a title in the Title field.
      The title displays in the top-left of the grid card.
    • Enter a description of the card in the Description field.
      The text you enter displays when you hover over the information icon on the published card.
    • Link the grid card's title to a page from the Link to a page dropdown menu.
      When the page is published, the title is hyperlinked to the page you select.
  4. Optionally, on the Grid tab:
    • Toggle Allow editing right to enable users to edit data.
    • If the data source for the grid card is a view, toggle Users can pivot data right to enable users to pivot the grid card.
      If you create a new grid card, users can pivot it by default.
    • Select a value from the Row height dropdown to change the height of rows in the grid card.
      Standard, the default height, is one line high. Medium is two lines high, Large is four lines, and Extra large is eight lines.
    • Select one or more line items under Line item image settings to display their values as images on the grid card.
      The Line item image settings section only displays if your view contains valid link-formatted line items.
      You can display .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, or .png files as images on a grid card. Learn how to store image URLs.
  5. Optionally, on the Context tab, Configure context selectors.

To position your card and publish it:

  1. Optionally, drag and drop your card to where you want it to display.
    • On worksheet pages, the Additional insights panel contains your cards.
    • On board pages, size and arrange your cards in rows and columns.
  2. When you're ready, save the page as a draft or click Publish.
